For the past several years, I’ve been teaching and writing about parenting. Specifically, I’ve been dedicated to helping parents find ways to connect with their children; to create strong relationships; to be able to work with kids, rather than fighting their natural development; to enjoy parenting.
In doing this, I’ve been helping parents find words. The language behind positive parenting. Sometimes it helps to see real-life examples of what to say in certain situations. Sometimes, we get the “idea” of positive parenting–the theory–but we really just need some examples to get us started at home. And coming out soon, my new ebook is dedicated to just that: examples.
Encouraging Words for Kids gives over 150 examples of things to say to encourage confidence and self-motivation in children. It is written to be a simple guide that parents can turn to again and again whenever they need a little inspiration in creating positive communication with their kids. The examples are organized into 5 categories:
- Showing Gratitude
- Showing Talent
- Making Accomplishments
- Solving Problems
- Emotional Encouragement
Each section is full of examples that show how phrases of encouragement can be short, simple, and meaningful towards a child’s emotional growth. And all together, the book can be described similarly: short, simple, and meaningful towards parent-child relationships. I can’t wait for you to read it!
The book will launch within a few weeks, so stay tuned for details on the date!
